The voluminous article collection on Estonia and Livonia in the early modern period published recently includes two Estonian-language articles from the early modern noble literature project research group: Rötger Becker’s verse satire “Elegy on the true origin of nobles and their vices”: humanist literary innovation in the service of social criticism in Livonia by Kristi Viiding and How to fulfill a half-century hiatus? Journalism in Riga in the 17th and 18th centuries from the viewpoint of the history of communication from Kaarel Vanamölder.
The collection of articles hanges, reorganizations, innovations. Development lines of the early modern period in Estonia and Livonia 1520–1800 was edited by Marten Seppel and Madis Maasing and is published in the series Acta Universitatis Tallinnensis: Humaniora.
